Hello,

since a few days I'm getting more and more errors like this in my php error logs:

Postfix does not forward email from dedicated IP

Hey

Plesk 12.0.18 on centos 6, Postfix does not forward email from dedicated IP. If I send email from the domain the dedicted IP is used, just when the forward is set up, the email is sent from the server's main IP. Any idea what should I tweak in postfix? Thanks

Wordpress "File Not Found" error with custom permalinks on subdirectory

Hey guys,

For some reason I am having issues with wordpress and custom permalinks. When installing wordpress on domain.com/wordpress directory, for some reason custom permalinks are leading to a "file not found" white page, but it works fine with the default permalinks. Below is the error in the proxy error log if that helps.

I am getting the following error when trying to update from Plesk 12.0.18 #77 on Cent 6.0 to Plesk 12.5..

Hi,

I was looking for a little advice if possible, I have searched around and found a couple of pages relating to this but I'm not sure if any of the suggested solutions apply, here is the info:

Your operating system ( Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS with Plesk 12.5 (64-bit) )
Your current used Plesk- Product ( Plesk v. 12.0.18 )

Horde Active Sync does not work

Hi,

I just upgraded to a new server from 12.0.18 to 12.5 (PHP 5.5.9 by OS vendor as fastCGI).
Horde seems to run properly and all mails are migrated properly.
I tried to activate Active Sync according to the instructions given and added these lines to my http /https config:

Migration error in Plesk Migrator 1.8.4

Hello,

we get in the Plesk Migrator 1.8.4 when attempting a migration following error "You can not manage resellers due to license restrictions." from that point stops the migration.

On the source and destination servers Plesk Web Pro is stored as a license. Resellers are not used in both systems.

Has a change to the license provisions arise or is it a bug?

I have a translator used because my English is not the best, therefore I ask. Sorry for a possibly dirty text

Because upgrading Plesk servers in the past often caused problems, I want to try it this time in a different way because I want to upgrade from 12.0.18 to 12.5

Hi all!
Is there a way to ignore sender IP in greylist, or is that a bad idea?
A customer is unsatisfied because she had to wait for 11 and an half hour for a mail got delivered. When I checked the log, I noticed several retries, each from different IP address. The sender used a solution from Microsoft, so I noticed attempts from 274 (!) different IPs from their server farm (outbound.protection.outlook.com), until a successfully delivery was made. I guess there would be a problem from other...

Disable rules by id for Mod security with Atomic rules

Hello there,

I've mod_security active with the Atomic Ruleset and I need to disable some rules using their ID.
I go to "Web Application Firewall" into the website overview page and i put the rule ID into the field "Switch off security rules" -> "Security rule IDs" but nothing happens. The rules remain active and continue to be used to block the event.

If i try to search in the field below, "Tags", nothing shows up.

Does this interface work for the Atomic ruleset?

I has installed a new server (strato) with Plesk 12.5

Will Plesk 12.5 ever support incremental backups for mail?

Incremental backups actually take more hard drive space than full backups and it's not quite as the documentation makes out.

For example if you had a domain doing permanent full back ups and its backups were 10 GB then the hard drive space it would take up to 10 GB. If the same domain now does incremental backups the first backup will be 10 GB and the second one possibly 2GB, and the third one say again 2GB and so on so by the...

I'm running Plesk 12 (latest build) on CentOs 6.6 with PHP as FastCGI. I've been using New Relic to monitor PHP and server activity since I started working with Plesk and it has always worked great, and it still does.

By default the New Relic config grabs all PHP activity as one 'Application' through the newrelic.appname variable that is set in /etc/php.d/newrelic.ini. The default appname is 'PHP Application'.

Can open File Manager

I have an issue with the File manager in plesk 12.5 and a specific subscription. File manager doesnt open, it just shows an almost blank page. Screenshot attached.

- The subscription has 500 domains configured. Could it be an issue with the amount of directories?
- File manager works fine on all other subscriptions
- it was working without a problem on Plesk 11.5. We have migrated the account to a 12.5 server, issue appeared after the migration on the new server

Plesk fails to add aditional IP

Hello,

I have the latest plesk version 12.5 with centos7, on adding a new IPV4 and IPV6 adresses on Tools&settings -> Ip ... add new -> xx.xx.xx.xx/32 for dedicated IV4 and xx.xx.xx.xx.xx/64 for IPV6
Restarting the server, nginx dosen t start with error: "nginx emerg bind() to 443 failed (99 cannot assign requested address)" the error includes the NEW IP6 wich i checked with the provider support team and is correct.

Scheduled Task containing a password

Hi All

I have created a scheduled task in plesk as root to send a server backup to an external (ftp) location.
Naturally the task contains the ftp password for the destination.

I would prefer to use the GUI instead to schedule the backup but I need to exclude a specific domain from the back up.

Do you think this is a 'reasonable' thing to do? Or is it just too 'high' risk?

after upgrading to 12.5 it looks like the php-fpm handler for apache was installed but in the domain settings the fpm handler for apache is not available (only for nginx)?
