Unable to see websites in certain countries

Hello,

After doing either a YUM update or an automatic Plesk update. There seems to be a problem that Plesk will let people in certain regions see websites created and others don't. I did raise this before with the CentOS forums and they pointed to the updates in Plesk messing about with the web stack or something like that.

Ideas?

php-fpm w/ php 5.6 and plesk 12.5 problem

hi all,

i've upgraded to plesk 12.5 and running PHP 5.3.3 and PHP 5.6.14 on different domains.

all I can select is run PHP as FastCGI applcation and not php-fpm from the Hosting Settings panel, PHP Support drop down list.

How do i set PHP to run with PHP-FPM and php 5.6.14?

what am i missing? any thing else i need to install?

Hi just got this Error i cant figure out that Problem.

i just set a new Domain to existing Plesk with Customers and moved some more Customers to that new Server (which is running since a Week) and now i randomly got this Message:

PHP pages no nolger load after 12.5.30 MU#23 update

After upgrading my Plesk VPS to 12.5.30 MU23. the PHP pages are no longer served by the PHP handler with the result of the browser asking which applications to use for opening the .php pages (see picture 1)

The current PHP engine is version 5.6.18 run as FPM Application served by Apache.

If I switch the PHP handler to either FastCGI Application served by Apache or FPM Application served by NGINX the php pages are handled correctly...

Forward subdomain to a port

Hello,

I have Sentry installed on our second server and want to access it over a subdomain. The main domain is directed to the Server 1, the subdomain should point to server 2 and there to port 9000 where the sentry installation runs.

I use the following installation:

Server 1
sentry.domain.de redirected per DNS to Server 2

Server 2
domain.de only created for the subdomain
sentry.domain.de as webhosting with nginx, actually points to the sentry folder

When I access the sentry subdomain,...

Error: When I add PTR Record for Reverse DNS

My mails are gone to spam folder. So i searched some tools and i saw my server is a problem:
"Reverse DNS Resolution - No PTR Record found"

Now i try to add reverse dns to my server over plesk. (Plesk 12 Ubuntu)
But there is an error.

A Record is ok:
mail.data.com. A 12.34.56.789

But there is an error, when i want to add a PTR record at DNS Settings.
789.56.34.12.in-addr.arpa PTR mail.data.com

Isn't it true place for add reverse dns? Or what...

Hello

i have a problem with Plesk, when i try :

DefaultLanguage fr-FR

Options -Indexes +FollowSymlinks

RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /

order allow,deny
deny from all

I have this error : File not found.

I use : PHP 7.0.2 & Apache 2.4.x

Horde Active Sync does not work

Hi,

I just upgraded to a new server from 12.0.18 to 12.5 (PHP 5.5.9 by OS vendor as fastCGI).
Horde seems to run properly and all mails are migrated properly.
I tried to activate Active Sync according to the instructions given and added these lines to my http /https config:

Hello;

After i rebooted my server i got the following update when trying to access my dashboard, this always happens to me, one reason i dont like to use plesk on ubuntu. i am more comfortable with ubuntu.

ERROR: PleskDBException: Unable to connect to database: mysql_connect(): No such file or directory /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock (Error code: 2002). Please check that database server is started and accessible. (Abstract.php:69)

I've upgraded my server yesterday, it seems everything went well except I started to receive watchdog emails like this every five minutes:

Firewall settings not visible ?

Hi,

I'm using the 12.5 Web Pro Edition.

I need to change some firewall rules for passive FTP, as far as i can find in the manual, i should be able to see it under 'Tools & Settings > Security', as i can see on a screenshot from the manual :

Customer asks this question:

I've run across a couple cases now where I need to forward mail for an
account, but do not want to keep a copy in the account's mailbox. The
account still needs to be a mailbox because they need to authenticate
for outgoing mail. But I can't find a way to keep the mailbox setting,
but not a local copy of emails. Can this be done?

Anybody know a good answer or workaround?

Adding custom rule to Mod_security

I have a hard time figuring out how Mod_security is exactly configured in Plesk 12.
Its so different then on the server where we manually installed mod_security...

I want to add a custom rule because of CVE-2015-8562.

How can I add this rule without breaking anything and without it being overwritten upon updates?

On my other servers I just added an extra 00_joomla.conf file to the configuration.
But I dont know where to put it and how to let mod_security now to read it...

My hosting company just upgraded me to Plesk 12.5.30. They don't support migration. I'm on my own.

I accomplished getting it migrated with just a few fixable warnings, but I want to start hosting my sites on the new installation.

Beginning with one domain, I tried to Change Hosting Type. It asks for a user name. I would like to be able to use the same user names I used on the old installation, but it won't let me. I get a "User Account Already Exists". If the user account already exists,...

Hi all,
I have some bug.
I set password for backup in Tools & Settings - Backup Manager - FTP Storage Settings
but this password don't implemented for backup.
Backups makes fine, but nothing passwords on it.
This is strange.

Also i have same bug for domains backup features.
