fail2ban does not start: Unable to remove PID file

I am not able to start fail2ban anymore. It always crashes while it starts.

Error:
Code:
Unable to remove PID file: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/var/run/fail2ban/fail2ban.pid'
The directory /var/run/fail2ban/ exists. The PID file does not exist. If I create it it will be deleted but the error still occurs. This is crazy.

I also tried to reinstall fail2ban over the Plesk Installer - the issue still occurs.

My system: Debian 8.4, Plesk 12.5.30 Update...

PHP Version and Laravel

I have a problem when I go to install the framework laravel, need PHP version 5.4 or higher. SSH always shows PHP 5.3.3.

In PLESK I configured the hosting with the latest version of PHP, but SHH always show PHP 5.3.3.

I need to use PHP5 + to use laravel.

apache 503 error after pecl install memcache-beta

I tried to install pecl memcache v 3.0.x with the following command (I already had memcache v2 installed):
/opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/pecl/install/memcache-beta

After this I can't use plesk php 5.6 or plesk php7 anymore. I always get a 503 error and I'm unable to solve this problem.
If I try to change the php version via plesk I get this error back:
phpinimng failed: Job for plesk-php70-fpm.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status...

I am trying to install Wordpress on my domain. I navigate to "Applications" and then select "Wordpress" and click "Install". It gives an error stating:

Error: Installation of WordPress at http://example.com failed. ODBC code #42S02: [MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.5.45-log]Table 'apsc.aps_resource_adjacency_list' doesn't existODBC code #42S02:

Backup Manager stuck with 504 Gataway Time-out error.

Hello,
before 5 days I backed up all 3 webaspaces that I have on this server.

Today I tried again, and I backed UP 2 webspaces, but third I can't.
When I chose that webspace, browser trying to open it, and stuck.

Other webspaces still can open, but this one not...

What can be?

Spamassasin stop working after Plesk updates.

Hi.
For weeks I've noticed that after each automatic update of Plesk, SpamAssassin service stops.
I have to restart it manually and so the next update.
Anyone know how I can fix?

Magento update to 2.1

Hi, I'm trying to update Magento from 2.04 to 2.1
And I have problem with few things.

My main problem is with always_populate_raw_post_data in php.ini.
Magento says that it is 0, but it is not.

I already in Plesk panel added in "Additional configuration directives" that value.
Also, I checked it in /var/www/vhosts/system/domain/etc/php.ini, and there is also set -1.
And I checked phpinfo.php from Plesk, and installed new file in root of site and run it, and...

log file accumulation in /var/log/plesk/PMM

Hi All,

I noticed that in /var/log/plesk/PMM, log files are being created daily which are never cleaned up, resulting in accumulation of old log files. These directories grow, over time, to sizes up to 10 GB. There also seem to be log files being created that are related to backups.
It would be expected that these log directories shouldn't have to be cleaned manually. Is this a bug?

Hi,
I am running plesk 12.5.30 on a 1and1 cloud server. I have a lot of Internal Server Errors and already investigated and changed things. I have several wordpress installations running on the server and the 500-error is in the backend and frontend. Most frequent in the backend (wp admin). I have set the php limit to 512 already and put the ini.php in the root folder of the domain. I have this problem not with only 1 domain, but with many of them, so I think it's a server issue and not a...

Safe redirection but with file space

I have the following question:
I have a subscription for a client and I want when he visits his subdomain to be redirected to another one (in the same server) but without seeing the change at url. I saw that this can be done by forwarding but I also need the client to be able to store his files in the subdomain. Is this posible?

Deleted FTP accounts still working

Hey guys,

For some reason non-exisiting/delete FTP accounts still have access to the server. When I tried to delete the account, it gave an error stating that a process is using it, however, it was not being used at the time. From there, the ftp account was removed from the list, but for some reason it can still log in as if it exists.

Please advise, thnx.

How to permanent force https for webmail?

Hi,

We are using Plesk in version 12.5.30. We would like to force https for webmail on one of ours domains.
I made some research how to set https for webmail.domain.com but I didn't find any solution to make it permanent.

I think the easiest way is force use ssl in config file /etc/apache2/plesk.conf.d/horde.conf and /etc/apache2/plesk.conf.d/roundcube.conf in VirtualHost directive but in this files i see information:

View current restore progress

Hello there,

I started to restore a whole backup (but forgot to check "send email after completing the backup task"). Now the backup is ongoing and in the backup manager it shows that it is working.

But is there any chance to get information on how much of the data is transferred? Or what objects already are restored?
And can I opt-in for the email even after starting the job, to receive a finish-notification. Or is it only possible to set the preference right in the beginning?

Transfer and disk usage not updating...

Hello,

Plex 12.5.30 #45, Debian 8.4

I have a problem. The disk and transfer usage is not updated on this server. If I do it manually
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics --calculate-one --domain-name=xxx.com works but not everyday as always.

Any ideas?

Local forwarding email with Postfix & Mailchannels

When setting up email forwarding (on the same domain) in Plesk running Postfix and Mailchannels, the forwarded email (to an account on the same domain) is still sent out through Mailchannels resulting in SPF errors. How can I make it that theses local forwarded emails are delivered without going through the relayhost?

I have a problem with sending e-mails via contact form from wordpress. If wordpress tries to send a message, I get in the syslog following errors:
