Postfix-Spam: Connect from unknown host - invalid sender adress

Hi everyone,

i have a litte problem on my hosting Server. I´ve installed Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS‬ with Plesk Version 12.5.30 Update #44.
Since few weeks ago I got many spam e-mails throw the server. So i look up to the logs and i found some entry:

How to get Plesk to create www.conf.saved_by_psa?

Hi,

regarding Plesk 12.5.30:

On my older Ubuntu 14.04 Server in /etc/php5/fpm/pool.d the original OS file "www.conf" has been saved by Plesk to "www.conf.saved_by_psa", and replaced by a stub which does nothing. That is exactly what I want, those 2 to 4 PHP-FPM processes serve no purpose.

But now I have a new server, Debian 8.5 with Plesk (OS-Image supplied by top German vendor Hetzner). I have had Plesk install Nginx...

How to get Plesk to create www.conf.saved_by_psa?

Yum broken after 12.5 #44 (Centos 6.8)

Hi guys!

Yum appears to be broken after upgrating to microupdate #44.

All "yum" commands are returning "Segmentation fault".
After hours, I don't know how to repair that...

Any ideas ?

Hi all

Apologies if this is a silly question, but I am new to Plesk ( and virtual servers in general ). I have a server running Centos and Plesk 12 and my domain and web site are working perfectly. At present I also have an instance of Dreamfactory running on port 82 (so access it at http://mydomain.com:81 ) but I wondered if it were possible to setup a subdomain with plesk such as http://api.mydomain.com that would load my dream factory instance without forwarding...

Failed to upload files midsize forward to any cms or script

When I try to upload files as medium size 80M, 20M, etc. The server uploads the files correctly. when I try to upload files 200M or above the server tries to upload the file but is frozen at a rate at any time, for example I'll do the test with a file 1 having a size of 219.9M and the server no matter what happens it hangs by 2% and there does not pass as shown in the following screenshot:...

Problem with PHP "Scheduled Tasks"

I have a PHP script I need to run monthly.

I've set it up in "Scheduled Tasks", and when I test it from inside the configuration page (Run Now button) everything is ok, but when I save it (OK button) and try to run it from the Scheduled Task list (Run Now link), it miserably fails with the following diagnostic:

-: /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/php: No such file or directory​

If instead of the PHP 5.6.23 I choose PHP 5.4.16 by OS vendor, then I get:

Webmail subdomain is not interpreted. Other Subdomains ok.

Hello Together

I have been searching for more than an hour now, but without any result.

My Problem, i installed a brand new Ubuntu 14.04 Server and installed Plesk 12.5 on it.
I Extended the Plesk installation with several PHP Versions and Roundcube WebMail Client.

I also createt a Domain and a subdomain to check the DNS.

My Problem, when i try to Access "webmail.domain.tld" the browser Downloads a file without extension. I figured out, that tis is the index(.php) file from roundcube.
So...

Webmail subdomain is not interpreted. Other Subdomains ok.

WildCard SSL & Multiple Servers

I have purchased a Wildcard SSL and set sub.mydomain.com to the IP of the other server using DNS records (A record) in plesk.

Everything is installed correctly on the main server, however on the sub.mydomain.com the SSL doesn't work.

Any idea how I can make it work on the other server?

I'm having a problem with an SSL certificate not showing up for a subdomain on the Hosting Settings page.

I have a domain with two subdomains set up on my server. Each of the 3 has a SSL certificate:

domain.com (in httpdocs directory) (SSL working)
subdomain1.domain.com (in httpdocs directory) (SSL working)
subdomain2.domain.com (in different directory) (SSL doesn't show up in list on Hosting Settings page)

Logrotate does not rotate the access_log.stat file (and similar)_

Each domain's log directory has a set of log files for the statistics. The main file is access_log.stat and there is also access_log.webstat, and two matching files for ssl access.

Logrotate does not rotate these files. I can't set this up manually, since the logrotate config files warn that they are subject to overwriting.

How can I get these rotated?

Plesk 12.5.30 Update #44
Linux CentOS 6.8

Hello,

I don't know how it happened but I am runnnig mysql server 5.7 on CentOS 6.8 It gives me a lot of problems. I would like to know in understandable English (I am Dutch) if it is possible to go back to mysql server 5.5 or if possible 5.6 but in a way that I keep all my current databases. So all I have running stays running. I hope someone has the answer for me. OR is it possible to make 5.7 runnig without problems?

Change default Web Server's Default Page

Hi,

I want to edit the default Web Server's Default Page.

How can I achieve that?

I found something that I need to replace the /var/www/vhosts/.skel/0/httpdocs/index.html file.
But that is not the file that is displayed by default.

I also want to change it from index.html into index.php, so that this default page is load as .php file.

Hi
I'm upgrading a software on the website, to do it we need to change this value max_allowed_packet, in the my.cnf file, i looked inside the file /etc/my.cnf, but it has not this value, i have to change it from 4 mb to 32, where should i do this? maybe there is some other my.cnf file? or should i just add this value inside the one i have? can i change this value from plesk? Yhank you

Cannot add new domain

I've been having major issues adding a new customer to plesk. It seems to go wrong when adding the domain to the customer.

First of all, I can create a customer without problems when I uncheck 'Create subscription for the customer'. But when I just leave it checked and fill in the prerequisites for the subscriptiondomain I get the error:

FTP Permission Denied

Hello, I just set up my domain and all right, when I connect to FTP I can not modify / delete files, shows me the following error:

550 Permission Denied.

This user has been created from PLESK, how can I fix permissions?
I have Plesk: 12.0.18

Disable User Password Change

Hey guys,

my Customer has some Problem with his password. After a few days the password change magically. How could this be?

Are there some log-files which logging the pw-changes?
Is there any option to disable the password change function for my customers?
