How do I combine awstats http+https?

I tried to modify the non-ssl config file in
/usr/local/psa/etc/awstats
and deleting the ssl-config file.

I modified the LogFile Option like

LogFile="/usr/share/awstats/tools/logresolvemerge.pl /var/www/vhosts/system/...access_log /var/www/vhosts/system/...access_ssl_log |"

how it is described in the awstats manual, but that does not work:
- non-ssl is processed like before
- ssl is not logged anymore, but the access_ssl_log.webstat file gets not removed anymore and grows and grows..

So...

How do I combine awstats http+https?
